Please contact us by email or on social media if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Traveling always has its share of risks, and health issues can come up. We strongly suggest getting travel insurance from your provider. Also, check with your doctor before you go for necessary shots and to make sure you have enough of your regular meds for the whole trip, plus some extras in case of delays. Your trip might take you to remote areas far from big cities, so it's smart to be well-prepared.
Before joining our tour, you'll need to sign a waiver, releasing ExplorEast Tours n Treks, partners, and service providers of any liabilities.
We really care about the well-being of everyone on our tours. We will do everything we can to make sure you have a safe and secure travel experience.
Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months after the tour ends. You're in charge of getting your visa, but we can help with an invitation letter or tour itinerary once you've paid the tour charges.
Flights are your responsibility unless they're included in the tour package. We're not responsible if your trip gets cancelled due to issues like being unable to fly, visa denial, or unpreparedness.
Your passport needs to be valid for at least six months after the tour starts, or your visa might be denied, and you'll lose your deposit and balance.
The tour begins on Day One. If you're flying on your own, make sure your flight gets you to the starting point. ExplorEast staff can arrange an airport shuttle.
You must ensure that you are medically fit to travel and participate in the tour. Tours are customisable to your fitness level, but you must let ExplorEast know in advance so the appropriate accommodations can be made.
We accept no responsibility for any subsequent losses that may be incurred, or any element of the tour that you are unable to participate in, on account of your health or fitness.

Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable (except in case of tour cancellation by the tour operator) as it secures your spot and prevents other people from booking the tour once the tour has reached capacity.
120+ Days Before Start of Tour - Full Refund:
If you pay the full amount at the time of booking, the deposit amount is non-refundable, but the remaining balance is refundable should you cancel within more than 120 days of the start of the tour.
90+ Days Before Start of Tour - Partial Refund:
If you cancel after paying the balance, 50% is refundable if cancelled within 90 days of the start of the tour.
If cancellation occurs less than 90 days from the start of the tour, no amount will be refunded. This is because all reservations and accommodations would have already been prepared for.
Certain destinations require getting visas beforehand. If, despite following all the correct application steps, your visa is denied and you can't join the trip solely because of this, we'll refund the full balance amount. However, you need to provide proof of the visa denial and correct application to get the refund.
It's highly recommended that you stay in your country during the visa application. If you choose to apply from another country and can't go to the embassy, it's at your own risk. We won't refund the trip cost in this case.
Remember, it's your responsibility to apply for the visa on time, allowing for document submission if needed by the consulate. Refunds won't be issued if the visa denial is due to your actions rather than circumstances beyond your control.
Payments are due 3-4 months prior to the start of the tour. You will receive a payment request and payment deadline via email, with different payment options available. Please ensure you pay the balance in a timely manner, respective of the deadlines.
For our Pakistan tours, you will be asked to pay the full balance around the same time ExplorEast issues your Letter of Invitation for Visa.
ExplorEast reserves the right to cancel any tour in extraordinary circumstances due to unforeseen situations such as civil or political unrest, natural disasters, disease outbreaks, etc.
This may also apply to tours where minimum numbers have not been reached; in case of insufficient participant numbers, a refund (including deposit) or an alternative tour shall be offered.
It is unlikely that the ExplorEast will have to make any changes to our published itineraries, however, arrangements are made several months in advance. If you have any must-see sights or require accommodation, do let us know in advance! Occasionally changes may need to occur without prior notice for unforeseen reasons.
Participants agree that the nature of the tours offered by the ExplorEast requires a degree of flexibility and that the contents and timings of the tour (including the arrival time at the tour’s destination, changes in route or method of transport) may be affected as a result of ‘force majeure’, weather, local political conditions, man made or natural disasters (including landslides, quakes and severe flooding), strikes, entry or border difficulties, mechanical breakdowns, flight cancellations, sickness, or other unforeseen circumstances.
You agree to accept this flexibility and to accept that we cannot be held responsible for delays and alterations in the schedule, or for expenses incurred as result of any delay.
ExplorEast will appoint the tour leader in advance of each tour, and the tour leader will be introduced in debriefing (in person or via video call) prior to departure.
Participants agree to accept the decisions of the tour leader, who shall have absolute discretion and authority to securely implement ExplorEast obligations to fulfill any given itinerary and achieve the best possible tour experience.
If your physical condition or behaviour is such as to affect the well-being of yourself or other members of the group, or disruptive, potentially affecting another participant’s enjoyment/safety of the tour, it is up to tour leader to decide to remove you from the tour without any right to refund.
If you choose to leave the tour at any point you will be required to provide your decision to the tour leader in writing, as you will not be permitted to rejoin the tour at a later date.
We will always try to resolve a complaint as quickly as it arises. Please inform your tour leader or staff of ExplorEast at the earliest so your concerns may be addressed in a timely manner.
If the complaint remains unresolved, then the participant is welcome to state their complaint in writing to ExplorEast within 7 days of completion of the tour.
All tour participants will be required to sign an industry-standard waiver releasing ExplorEast from any liability related to any aspect.
